The environment speaks a common voice of death to relieve a mother of an unwanted baby and death to relieve misery for the elderly. Parishioners will see another environment that says NO. They must see a body of lay people stand up to say that life is sacred, gathering for prayer and they must see people like themselves who understand they are all made in the image of God and that God is Love. Many are honored if they were asked by their Pastor to relieve him of small parish responsibilities.

We encourage volunteers to join and manage the Parish Phone Tree. Through this we can notify parishioners on our list about Action Alerts concerning legislative bills currently needing urgent phone calls or e-mails to Legislators, Senators, Congressmen and other elected officials in Tallahassee and Washington regarding LIFE and social outreach issues. The committee meets with the Pastor to plan a yearly campaign of spiritual, as well as physical activities, which will benefit the parishioners, as well as pregnancy care centers and social outreach.
